Busy place with good coffee. The line can be long at times but if you hit it just right it's awesome. They are fast and normally the wait isn't too long.

I love the human bean the coffee is always excellent and usually the customer service is fantastic however today I thought I would try a breakfast burrito and order a water with my coffee. When I got to my destination I realized they had forgotten my water and the first bite into my burrito was disgusting. It tasted as if something had gone bad. I guess in the future if I want breakfast I'll have to go to Starbucks where the breakfast is always good and they never forget my water.

Great coffee place! The drive thru line may look long at times, but the baristas are very quick with getting the line moving. My favorite drink is the Mexi Mocha, and I love the chocolate covered bean you get with every coffee. I highly recommend this place, for sure my first choice in coffee. I also love that they are a more local business, and do fundraisers and use local products. Awesome!

I can see how people can really love this place. It's pretty convenient, especially if you have children, and they give you one of those chocolate candy coffee beans with every drink! I admit, I have come here instead of some other nearby coffee joint solely because of those beans. All that said, the coffee and espresso is as average as it gets. In fact, they specialize in coffee drinks that are loaded with so much other sweet and creamy business that the coffee disappears. I appreciate that the servers (always female) are friendly, but it's a little too over the top. Surely, one needs not lean that far over the counter while wearing a low-cut shirt to take my order.

This is truly as good as it gets! Although I change my drink of choice frequently, nothing beats their Nonfat Chai Latte, iced, with sugar-free hazelnut. It's like Christmas everyday! And if you are looking for a deal, make sure to get a punch card! They will even keep it inside for you so you don't lose it, how awesome is that?!

I think I found a coffee place I love more than Starbucks! I can't believe I've never tried them before but I'm now a fan! Goodbye Starbucks! Hello Human Bean! So why do I like them more? I just had The Bliss (and they added a bit of chocolate to it for me) and I don't think I took a sip without ooo'ing and ahhh'ing. Oh my gosh what a great V-Day treat to myself! Thank you for winning me over not just with the quality of the product but the quality of the staff! I'm all yours!!!

Awesome coffee, awesome service, ok price (not great), quick drive through, loyalty card and awesome people. Frank supports his community too. Only real slight for me (market seems to set what cost will be) is that there is no place inside to sit.

I am kind of finicky when it comes to coffee and if it has my bonafide stamp of approval for always keeping it in mind and going back. Just a handful of such places come to mind. I had one such place in Denver and in Loveland and was very happy to find The Human Bean and consider it one of the few places where I go crazy for coffee. Usually it is for chai tea. Those that read enough of my reviews probably already know that. ;) No, the coffee is simply amazing, their roast is always awesome the times I have been here and you can also get pastries here now too which are quite good. As a 'thank you' for choosing them they give you one or two little chocolate covered coffee bean to eat with you coffee. Such tasty little morsels that they are! The times I have been to the Human Bean has not been in my car but on my bike. The Spring Creek bike path is just a hop, skip and a jump away. All you need to do is get off your bike and walk it across the bridge from the trail along College Ave. and you are there. Keep in mind though, it is NOT allowed to bike on College. The Human Bean is a drive-thru so there is no place where you can go inside and sit but there are tables and benches outside that they have provided that you can use, or you can just drive away with your drinks too. The choice.... is entirely up to you.

I discovered this place when I first moved to Fort Collins but didn't become a regular until Starbucks started letting crazy people in to pose with their guns and a cup of coffee and I had to cut ties. I know people have strong visceral reactions to corporate coffee but for the most part I don't really care. I just like a good cup that's convenient to get and the Human Bean was a little more of a drive. Now that they've opened the North College location it's my only stop for coffee. I always get a 16oz skim milk latte with sugar free peppermint and it's delicious. Chocolate covered espresso bean with it? Don't mind if I do! In addition to the coffee though the service is unparalleled. The girls who work there (either location) are always soooo nice, friendly, polite, helpful and quick. I'm always so pleasantly surprised when I leave there because baristas can have a tendency to be a little moody, but not these girls. This place is tops in my book!

Service: 5 stars Coffee: 5 stars Food: 2 stars Gray and drizzling morning and two of the girls working were running around to the cars parking in line to get folk's order. This says a lot about a place and their motivation to be efficient! Ordered the snow capped rocky latte and a breakfast burrito. Latte was great, but the burrito fell well below the bar. They don't make their own, it comes pre-wrapped and appears to have been microwaved in its package. It was cool in some parts and sticking to the wrapper. The ingredients were also indistinguishable - just a homogenous mush inside. If I was only interested in coffee I'd come again, but the mornings that I need coffee are also the mornings I need a quick breakfast. So I probably won't be coming again. Shame.

This is best drive-through coffee in Ft Collins. The servers are always friendly, smiling and seem happy to be working there. You almost always get exactly what you order, but if you don't they cheerfully make it right. The single down-side is that occasionally their vehicle capacity is exceeded and you can't get in.

My husband and I tried this place for the first time today. I though the coffee was delicious and the staff were very friendly. The chocolate covered coffee beans are yummy! I like there coffee better than Starbucks. I wouldn't mind visiting this place again.

Best coffee ever!!! I used to be a Starbucks nut until I tried the Human Bean about 3 years ago. There is no comparison, Human Bean is sooo much better all the way around. So glad I tried them, they have the best coffee I have ever tasted. Now, when I go on vacation to a state that doesn't have a Bean, I always severely miss it. The staff there rocks! They are always nice, and like to please their customers. Definitely use the punch card system, it saves you a lot! Overall, would definitely recommend over any other coffee shop, you won't be disappointed!

Best coffee in Fort Collins! I've only have had one nasty barista! She doesn't spoil it for me! As a Phoenix native it doesn't take a lot to impress me with coffee but, this goes above and beyond! Yum!

The best prices and the best coffee. I normally make my own but every once in a while I treat myself, 16 oz for $2, iced or hot, plus a candy-coated bean. The staff here are soooo friendly.

I don't think there's any life role that keeps a person busier than that of "Mom." Besides taking care of themselves, moms have to take care of a number of other people who directly rely on their effort. This includes everyone from husbands, children, co-workers and bosses, to extended family, friends and more. It's not shocking as to why so many moms put themselves last while being spread thin to accommodate everyone's requests. It's also no wonder why mornings in so many homes are total chaos, mine included. Between getting everyone fed, dressed and out of the house on time, mornings are a blur. Sometimes we hit the ground running, moving so fast that I don't get a chance to pour myself a cup of coffee. Mommy isn't too happy (or functional) when that happens. This is why I LOVE The Human Bean Drive-Thru coffee shop. On those days that we are out in a flash, I can quickly grab a much needed latte without having to strap and unstrap kids from their car seats. This is especially appreciated during winter months. The Human Bean is a small franchise that began in Oregon in 1998. Over a few years of successful growth, they now have about 50 locations in seven states. Two of those are in Fort Collins - one on North College and the other on South College. We are frequent visitors to the south location since it is right around the corner from our preschool. The Human Bean is one of the coffee houses we frequent the most in Fort Collins because of our busy and active lifestyle. It helps that not only is it easily accessible, but tasty, friendly and fast to boot. It helps to make those chaotic mornings more bearable in our home (and me more pleasant to bear), that's for sure!

Okay. Great coffee is essential. The HB is consistent there. Now service. How can it get any better? We've only been in town 3 weeks and been to the HB 6-8 times, but Tori had our ice coffee and ice latte ready before we got to the window! How is that possible?! Great coffee and outstanding service. Shush, let's not talk abt the S-word. Human Bean kicks that places butt & then some. I love HB, their mochas rock!! And they use Morning Fresh Dairy milk, local & good quality milk. Baristas are really nice & Umpqua oatmeal is so hearty. If your doing drive through, drive by that other place & come here instead!!
